Atlas uses cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences. We do not use any tracking cookies. We do not run any third-party analytics or advertising scripts.

What we store

Essential — you can’t opt out

• Auth session cookie (set by Supabase). Stores an opaque token that keeps you signed in. Expires after ~1 hour, refreshed automatically while you use the app. Deleted when you sign out.
• CSRF token (per request). Prevents forged form submissions. Not persisted.

Functional — improve your experience

• Open mindmaps tabs (localStorage, key atlas.open-mindmaps.<workspace-slug>). Remembers which mindmap tabs you had open so they persist across sessions.
• Mobile calendar redirect (sessionStorage, key atlas.calendar.mobile-redirected). Prevents the mobile auto-redirect to day view from firing repeatedly in the same session.

Third-party cookies

None by default. If your workspace admin connects the Google Places API to the location input, Google may set cookies when you interact with the autocomplete dropdown — those cookies are covered by Google’s privacy policy.

Analytics

We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Segment, or any other third-party analytics scripts on Atlas.

Managing cookies

You can clear Atlas’s cookies and local storage from your browser’s settings at any time. Clearing the auth cookie signs you out; clearing localStorage forgets your open mindmap tabs.
